Short Cycling

Short Cycling means that the system works, and then stops every few minutes. Need to find the controls, turning the system on and off:

Temperature control.
Overload controls.
High-pressure safety control.
Oil pressure safety control.

A rapid rise in blood pressure which can occur on the low side, where the expansion valve is leaking. Short Cycling may result. This leak will cause icing or sweating suction line. Most of the rooms are equipped with overload safety device in the electrical system. These devices stop the engine if it gets too hot or uses too much current. They will be void f m restart the engine after it cools. Temperature adjustment with the small difference also causes short Cycling.

In refrigerators with the help of pressure, motor controls, short cycles can be the cause of refrigerant leakage, control or poorly seated valves of the compressor. In any case, the low pressure will grow rapidly during the off cycle. This will cause the engine to start...
