Technical information Industrial Service Valves

Service Valves

Service valves, manually operated valves used on the suction and discharge of the compressor. They are designed to bolt directly into the compressor casing or be soldered to the ports of the hermetic compressor tank. These valves are designed with two Seating surfaces with two corresponding mating surfaces on the plug. These surfaces allow the valve back seated, and the front sitting-rotating valve stem with square head of the service wrench. One place and connect the surface is used for isolation die flow between the refrigerant lines and die compressor.

In another place and connect the surface is used for opening and closing pressure gauge soldered to the valve body. Die when the valve stem in its back-sitting position, sensor-a port closes and the refrigerant line was opened for the compressor. When the valve is in the front sitting position sensor-a port is open die compressor and refrigerant lines isolated from the compressor and pressure gauge. When the valve stem turned to the intermediate position, the module is placed between the seats. In this position, the refrigerant lines and manometer open to the compressor and with each other. Service valves are delivered Packed and packless versions and feature a stub.
