Fluid Cooler Operation

Fluid cooler uses mechanical project, spillovers. And, sprinklers is above the coil. The process fluid is pumped internally through the coil. Circulating water is cooled as it passes through the fill media, as shown in Fig. 8-28. Process fluid thermally equalized and distribute outside of the coil. A small part of the circulating water supply is evaporatd drawn from the air passing through the heat exchanger and fill media. This cooled by the pumped liquid. Coil section rejects heat evaporative cooling. This process uses the fresh air stream and precooled recirculation water spray. Recirculation of water falling from a coil in the collection basin. From the base it is pumped back to be allocated according to fill the media.

For industrial and HVAC applications is the perfect type of system. Process liquid stored in clean, closed loop. It combines the functions of cooling towers and heat exchanger into one system. This improves efficiency and provides many advantages. The device shown here has a capacity ranging from 100 to 650 tons in a compact enclosure. It is intended for a wide range of cooling liquids of glycol and water to quench oils and coating solutions.
