Low pressure side float in evaporator

Technical information Industrial High-pressure (HP) float valve

High-pressure (HP) float valve

With this type of valve on the liquid line directly from the condenser, or from the receiver, the refrigerant charge has been minimized, because the receiver can operate empty. This valve is designed only for systems containing an evaporator.

Extreme care is required when charging the system is equipped with this type of valve as all liquid refrigerant entering the gate at the low side of the system. System, as they say, 'the critical charge " and to ensure the safe operation (by avoiding over-charging, which leads to the " liquid migrated compressors) liquid level sensor must be installed in the evaporator or vessel from which the evaporator is.

Low pressure (LP) float valve

This valve controls the flow of liquid refrigerant to the " low " and the plant by controlling the level of the liquid in the evaporator (or in containers, of which enters the evaporator). It depends on the degree of opening of an integral expansion valve, or in large systems, changes in the pressure in the pilot line for the modulation of the opening of expansion valve on the liquid line. This type of valve, the fluid level should be in the receiver under all load levels. A level sensor necessary so that the fluid level in the handset, are subject to monitoring.
