Sectional coldrooms
Small coldrooms can be made as a number of interrelated and installation sections, for on-site Assembly on a flat floor (see Fig. 15.5). Standard ranges consist of about 70 m3, but in large stores can be made on this principle. Floor partition(s)shall be put on the flat floor and walls, erected on this, located, sealed and pulled up together. The roof sections then the bridge over the wall. Such packages come complete with all fittings. They can be dismantled and moved to another location if required. Specialist work is limited by cutting the necessary holes for pipelines and installation of refrigerating equipment.
Shops of this size can be built using the standard size of a factory manufacturing of sandwich panels for cutting these size accession and seal in place. This form of construction, prone to mistakes during installation, with subsequent breach of isolation, if not carried out by qualified and experienced persons.
