Liquid Circulation System

The liquid refrigerant recirculating systems are often fed the upward flow of fluid through their evaporators. These systems are called bottomfed. This is achieved by mechanical or gas in the amount of recirculators refrigerant cycle (see Fig. 10-20).

In some systems, more than one evaporator comes from the same recirculator, as shown in Fig. 10-20. Then, the proper distribution of the fluid between evaporators, must be maintained to ensure effective work of each evaporator. This balance is usually achieved by the introduction of regulated gloves valves or holes in the liquid-feeder lines. Similarly, an adjustment gloves valves or holes, insert, is also often used to distribute the hot gas during the defrost cycle.

The alignment holes or gloves valves are not used if the hot gas used for defrosting is fed to the bottom of the evaporators, as shown in Fig.

10-20. In such cases, most of the hot gas can flow through the contours of the nearest gas supply hot-line. The same thing could happen in networks where both vertical and horizontal headers are used, as shown in Fig. 10-21. In more remote circuits could remain full of cold fluid. Consequently, they would not defrosting.

Hot gas is at the top of the evaporator forces of liquid refrigerant from the evaporator and through the safety valve relief regulator in the suction line to return to the battery (see Fig. 10-21). Reinstalling the safety relief valve controllers are usually removed by 60-80 psi for quick defrosting.

The use of non-return valves important in flooded liquid-recirculating systems fed by mechanical gas volume of liquid recirculators. Check valves are used in case, when the pressure of the hot gas is used for defrost higher than the pressure in the system. Closed security-return valve must be used to stop the gas under high pressure from flowing back into the liquid supply-line.
