Evaporator ahu - What is evaporaeter?

Technical information Refrigeration Cooling is the coil

Cooling coil

Source cooling coil in the air handling unit, which can be either a D-X direct expansion (DX) or chilled water coil. D-X coils are used in the vast majority of buildings; that is, those that use less than 100 tons of cooling capacity. Here D-X coil shown connected to the refrigerant lines in the outdoor unit, which contains a compressor and condenser. Liquid dispenser next to the evaporator in the AHU.

Four main cooling cycle components can be grouped as shown here or compressor and condenser can be placed in the form of separate components. In any case, the heat absorbed by the evaporator is moved through the refrigerant and rejected the capacitor outside air.

Here all-air system that uses chilled water coil, and not D-X coil for cooling zone. This approach is becoming increasingly popular as a building size grows. Buildings higher than three storeys, often use one or two air handling units per floor with chilled water coils. The building under 100 tons of cooling capacity rarely use the heat exchanger.

In these systems, the cooling water flowing through the coil, it absorbs the heat from the air that passes through it.

This heat is supplied through water piping for water cooler containing the four main components of the cooling system. Hmm, it absorbs the heat from the water in the evaporator, which contains a refrigerant. This type of evaporator is called cooler.

The heat absorbed from the water in refrigerant deviates from the cooling system of its condenser. In this scheme, the chiller is in the room, so the condenser with water cooling. Heat from the condenser is water, which is supplied to the street to the tower, where heat is rejected. This system can also use air cooling or evaporative condenser, located outdoors, and separately from the rest of the chiller. This design eliminates the need for a cooling tower...
