Inserting The Battery
Locate the battery as possible to the compressor as possible. In systems using reverse cycle, the battery must be installed between the reversing valve and the compressor. The correct entry (evaporator) and outlet (compressor) must be observed. The battery must be installed vertically. Proper selection of the battery may not necessarily result in the battery connections matching the suction line size. This new technology is expected to replace dangerous and outdated practice of selection of the battery connection to the suction line size. For accommodation inconsistencies sleeve down may be required. The battery must not be installed in a bypass line or suction line that experience other than the total flow of the refrigerant.
When you insert the battery with solder connections, direct torch from the top of the access connector to avoid possible damage to the o-ring. During installation the model is equipped with a fusible plug, the plug must be inserted instead of the fusible plug until all brazing or soldering completion...
