Technical information Industrial Vortex Shedding

Vortex Shedding

Research product in the management of the housing noise has developed a new method to reduce the radiated noise. This method is known as vortex shedding. When applied to terminal boxes, covering noise sharply lowered. Body radiation attenuation (CRA) vortex shedders can be installed in single or double duct boxes up to 7000 cfm, at constant volume or variable volume, with or without a heating coil. CRA devices provide unique opportunities and the following benefits:
  • No changes in the terminal box size. Box for easy installation in tight ceiling Plenum, to ensure minimal noise casing under all conditions.
  • Factory of semi-boxes and housing noise eliminator, one-piece Assembly, reduces installation costs. Only one window is hung. Only one connection to the duct.
  • Quickly opening the door is available in the window. This guarantees easy and comfortable access to all operational parts without having to cut and patch field teams cabinets.
  • Equipment of laboratory tests and the nominal capacity. Engineering measurements are made in accordance with industry standards. Thus, at work, high performance. Quiet rooms and a result of owner satisfaction guaranteed.
