Table 3-2 lists the recommended air velocity in feet per minute for different requirements. These air velocities in line with best practice. It should be understood that fanoutlet speed depend to some extent on the static pressure and static pressure and the fan housing speed pressure are interdependent for good working condition. The fan speed at the outlet of the pipe also affects a specific type of fan installed.
