Twin cooling system

Two cooling system is a new refrigeration technology, which solves the problems of conventional vapour compression refrigeration. No-frost system cooling is the latest craze, but conventional no-frost characteristics of energy efficiency and lower humidity. To overcome this problem, a new cooling system, called the Twin Cooling System (see Fig. 3.44a was developed by Samsung. These are the main features of the new system:

Two evaporators and two fans: the evaporators and fans of the freezer and the refrigeratoroperate independently reach the necessary temperatures in each compartment. This minimizes unnecessary movement of the air flow from one compartment to another. This eliminates the need for complex air flow system, which leads to energy losses. Turbo fans: the Newly developed turbo-fan and multiple scrolling system of air ducts for air distribution minimizes the air way.

The inverter compressor: Variable compressor PRM according to the state of the refrigerator and 4-way control is used.
Highly efficient motors: Brushless DC motors with adjustable busy.
High efficiency insulation: insulation of cyclo-pentane.

This helps minimize the penetration of heat, thanks to its low thermal conductivity.
CFC-free: All these new refrigerators use of R-134a and R-600a and only available from CFCs and HCFCs. Therefore, they are ecologically safe.

As can be seen in Fig. 3.44a, the system has both the freezer and refrigerator compartments which are controlled independently, because each separate compartment of the evaporator and precise control. These functions are also inefficient air circulation between the compartments. The result is considered a technological ingenuity, due to the following reasons:

High humidity, conservation,
The ideal constant temperature storage,
High energy saving,
No mixed odors between the compartments.
