Solenoid Valve Principles
Solenoid valve is used in many cooling applications. It will automatically close or open the refrigerant circuits, to get the desired cooling effect. It is easily installed and used only simple electrical control circuits. Solenoid valve is simply an electromagnet with a movable core or center. The main building includes movable fittings are made from an alloy of iron and attached to the valve needle. This element is sealed in the body of the valve. Fittings can raise and lower the needle valve. The coil is wound valve body, which contains the valve.
The basic construction of the solenoid valve is shown in Fig. 5-37 As contactor, magnetic anchor moves up to the center of the coil. This opens the valve. When the circuit is opened, coil is de-energized and, therefore, demagnetized. In the spring and the weight of the anchor force of the valve against the valve seat.
