Discharge-Bypass Valves Installation

Bypass valves can be installed in horizontal or vertical lines, whichever best suits the application and allows easy access to the valves. Note, however, by posting these valves so that they do not act as oil traps. Also solder must not run in the internal details during the soldering process.

DBV should always be installed on the condensing unit and not in the evaporator section. This will ensure the rated bypass capacity DBV. This will eliminate the possibility of hot gas condensing in the bypass line. This is especially true in remote systems.

Because DBV used in the bypass line between the discharge line and the low side of the system, the valve is subjected to a vibration of the compressor. There are numerous places in the system where the remote bulb can be located. Two possible locations and return to the air flow and the structure of the device, if it is in the conditioned space.
