Refrigerating Systems. Thermostatic valves
Thermostatic expansion valve, essentially reducing valves between the high-pressure side low pressure side of the system. These valves, which are the most widely used devices to automatically control the liquid refrigerant into the evaporator in the amount that corresponds to the capacity of the system to the actual load. They work sensing of the superheated steam temperature of the refrigerant from the evaporator. For this type of valve the refrigerant associated with a hole Assembly works for all versions of valve body and all temperature ranges boil.
When the thermostatic expansion valve is working properly, the temperature at the outlet of the valve is significantly lower than the input. If this temperature difference is not present when the system is in operation, the valve seat, probably, dirty and clogged by foreign objects. After the valve is correctly configured, further regulation should not be necessary. The main problem can usually be traced from moisture and dirt accumulation in the saddle and holes. Fig. 3.22 shows a General view of the expansion valve with electric drive.
