Technical information Industrial Installing Direct Expansion Evaporators

Installing Evaporators Direct Expansion

If the evaporator was removed, after the Assembly, the procedures you must follow to ensure proper operation. Bolt evaporator back into the refrigerator and level. Then remove the cap refrigerant holes. Attach tine, liquid and suction lines of the block. Be careful that moisture does not penetrate in line during these operations. It is good practice to dry surfaces, lines and evaporator before removing the seals.

Tyres bolts thermostatic expansion valve (TRV) must be installed using a new gasket. Connect the vacuum pump and evacuate the evaporator and the compressor suction line I. Evacuate the evaporator second time! Leak test with 5 pounds per square inch of 25 pounds per square inch (20 psia 40 psi or 138 kPa to 276 kPa) pressure before the beginning of work of the evaporator. Leak testing again ambient pressure refrigerant (high pressure).

The evaporator can be dehydrated more fully. This is achieved by heating up to a temperature high enough, as it were evacuated. It should be heated up to 175F 200F (79C to 93C).

This displaces moisture, which may be in the present. Infrared lamps can be used fortius goals.

After installing evaporator, leak testing, installation defrost unit of electrical connection. Installing the fan and motor. The electrical connections must be sift-proof and moisture-proof. Operate the unit defrost and fan. Collect the body or cover. Start the unit and verify it works.
