Technical information Industrial Installing Refrigerant Piping

Installing Refrigerant

Code specifications require powerful refrigerant piping lines. They should be of type (strong) or type L. Pipelines should be protected by adequate security guards. Some codes recommend at least .065" (1.65 mm) wall thickness, where rigid copper pipe is. Refrigerant pipe connections must be placed in such a way that they can be easily verified. Seams should be made with a strong fittings brazing material used must be of excellent quality.

The code recommends that the pipeline is always maintained building structure. This will prevent pinching or pressure testing of the pipelines. The pipe should not be running through beams or studs, which do not support partitions can be damaged. The pipeline should be not less than 7 1/2 (2.29 m) above the floor when crossing the room. In sucdon line must be installed on the small decrease in the horizontal runs to the compressor. This ensures proper oil return. It is important to establish a flexible profiles pipes for noise control. This is also necessary for the pipes, which is experiencing rapid changes of temperature (hot gas defrosting)...
