Installing a condesning unit - Put condensing unit in basement

Technical information Industrial Installing Condensing Units

Installation Of Condensing Units

The first step in installing a condensing unit is to determine where it should be placed. This place should be as close as possible to the cabinets as possible. The Central place better. Installation should develop in the following order:
  1. Put cabinets.
  2. Find a place for condensing unit and install it.
  3. Install evaporators.
  4. Installation of valves and controls.
  5. Install the tube.
  6. To check for leaks.
  7. Vacuumization system in EPA regulations,
  8. Charge system.
  9. Start system.
  10. Check the unit and get 24 hours the temperature and pressure recording unit into operation.
Bulky cabinets and sometimes difficult to handle. It is recommended that the condensing unit to be put in the basement. It can also be placed in a room next to the room containing the Cabinet. Avoid putting the condensing unit where it will be exposed to the sun or low or negative temperatures. Search condensing units in the same room with shelves and cabinets are not recommended due to the heat and the noise that they make.

There will be some vibration, produced under the control of condensing unit.

Fig. 15-3 illustrates the compressor vibration-absorbing mounting. Capacitor protection, putting heavy wire cage around it. Install the valve and accessories plaque on the wall directly above the condensing unit. This will contribute to the valves, dryer motor control, two temperatures, fittings, electrical cabinets and the operating instructions of the map.

In some cases, the condenser is installed away from the compressor. In these cases, the traps are used in the discharge line of a compressor. Traps to store oil in the refrigerator and the compressor discharge valve. Reset lines must also be slanted down.

Most programs require a condensing unit be placed where it should not be damaged. Some in 1 HP, 5 HP condensing units can be easily converted from the closed premises and outdoor installations. These units can be used on most refrigerators and freezers, regardless of their location. These new units are designed for use with R-404A, which is the replacement for R-502. These units are approved by Underwriters Laboratories test for outdoor installation without fences. This means, the units can be installed without coating and still meet the UL standard code requirements. The device can also be installed inside the building, meeting all standards of UL. If necessary, a safety barrier must be placed around the small units. Or, they should be placed in a separate, well-ventilated area. Windows provide it for ventilation of small units, while the exhaust needed for larger units. This will avoid refrigerants device must develop leaks. Screen holes to prevent insects and other objects from the entrance. Larger units should also be protected from fire damage refractory self-closing doors. The condensing unit must be grounded.

Shipping blocks are used for the protection of installations with the use of electric motors and fans for cooling the condenser. Delivery of the blocks should be removed before the unit can be installed. Rotation of the fan manually to be sure it runs freely.
