Flash Strip
The term flash strip indicates that part of the refrigerant, which evaporates instantly (blinking) into steam as it passes through refrigerant management diaphragm. Flash evaporation of some liquid refrigerant (flash gas) cools the remaining liquid to a boil.
The volume of Vasily gas depends on the temperature of the refrigerant in the liquid line and pressure inside the evaporator. Flash strip reduces the performance of the valve.
One method of reducing flash gas for clamping line of the liquid in the suction line. In liquid coming from the condenser, heat and vapor coming from the evaporator cold. Clamping of the two lines together causes the transfer of heat from the liquid in the suction line. Coolant in the liquid line decreases flash strip.
