It is well known that the compressors are designed for compression of vapor, not liquids. Many of refrigeration systems, subject to repayment of excessive quantities of liquid refrigerant in the compressor. The liquid refrigerant is returned to the compressor, dilutes oil washes out bearings, and in some cases cause the complete loss of the oil in the crankcase of the compressor. This condition is known as crude oil or tubes, and results in a broken valve cane, pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft and etc. the Purpose of the battery as a reservoir to temporarily hold the excess oil-mixture of the refrigerant and return it to the amount that the compressor can safely handle. Some rechargeable batteries include heat exchanger coil for assistance in the boiling of liquid refrigerant while the supercooling of the refrigerant in the liquid line (see Fig. 3.24), thus, help the system function more effectively. Please note that the proper installation of the liquid in the suction line only after reversing valve before the compressor helps eliminate potential damage.

In a large shard of plate refrigerator and freezer systems, the refrigerant can accumulate in plates and suction line whenB the compressor is not running.

On start-up, the liquid refrigerant can be, suddenly merged into the compressor, creating a situation due to the ingress of liquid refrigerant refrigerant and oil. This can lead to damage of the compressor. When you install the compressor suction line, liquid separator protects the compressor from the ingress of liquid refrigerant gradually feeding liquid refrigerant in the compressor.

Please note that the batteries should be selected depending on the tonnage, the evaporator temperature of the bearing capacity.
