The device extension efficiency issues
Where capillary tubes or plates with holes, the amount of refrigerant in the system is critical to the capacity and efficiency. If the capillary tube is damaged or partially blocked, it will not control the system correctly and effectiveness may be reduced.
With thermostatic expansion valves superheat has a significant impact on the efficiency and reliability:
- if the superheat is too low, the liquid refrigerant can return to the compressor, causing damage or failure;
- if overheating is too high (as a rule, above 5K), capacity and efficiency unnecessarily reduced.
Thermostatic control valves not more variable differential pressure to use the floating head, pressure, balanced port or electronic lamps should be used. High pressure float has one advantage over all other forms of expansion device because it has a ventilation pipe, so that when the plant is stopped, the differential pressure across the valve calls. Thus, when you start the engine compressor absorbs less energy than during a normal run.
