Air compensation back-pressure regulator

Standard controller reset manually by turning the adjusting the stem, which increases the pressure of a spring on the top of the diaphragm. In the air compensated regulator, pressure changes at the top of the diaphragm is accomplished by injecting air pressure in a sealed casing above the diaphragm. As such, the air pressure increases positioner adjustment will be increased. This will make changes evaporator refrigerant pressure and temperature.
