High Efficiency Of Operation Of Furnaces

High-efficiency furnace reaches a level of fuel conversion by using a unique heat exchanger design. It features a ribbed cast iron combustion temperature-resistant steel exhaust pipe, steel coated with aluminium exhaust decoupler section, and ribbed made of stainless steel pipe heat exchanger of the condenser, similar to air conditioning coil. Moisture in the products of combustion is condensed in the coil, thus breaking almost every useful BTU gases. Since most of the heat of combustion is used to transfer heat from the coil, chimney temperature is only 100 to 130F (38 to 54C), that allows the use of 2-century-diameter PVC pipe. Furnace out through the side wall or roof or on the top of the existing chimney with up to 25 feet, PVC pipes and four 90 elbows. Condensate created in the coil can be implemented in subsurface drainage (see Fig. 2-17). The condensate is not harmful for standard household plumbing and can be merged into the city sewers and septic tanks, without damage.

The furnace has a pilot light or torch.

Automotive spark plug type is used for the ignition on the initial cycle only, saving gas and electricity. Due to the pulse-combustion method, with the use of atmospheric gas burners excluded from the combustion process is limited to the heat exchange in combustion chamber. Sealed combustion system virtually eliminates the loss of conditioned air by the burning of the stack and dilution. The combustion air from the outside enters the furnace with the same type of PVC pipes used for exhaust gases.
