Technical information Industrial Evaporative Condensers

Evaporative Condensers

Evaporative condenser system carries the refrigerant in the condenser. Evaporative condenser system in the body much like the tower. In this system, as the "evaporation" indicates water is sprayed or drips through the condenser. It cools it. The circulation of water in the condenser body only. As a rule, evaporative condenser is installed outdoors. However, it can be used indoors if the ducts are on the street.

Some systems pumping of water in a trough above capacitor. Then the water drips over the coils, and the air is forced through them, the thermostat can be used to control the flow of water. A fan blows air over the condenser when the capacitor is open.

The condenser is cooled by air alone until the temperature of the condenser reaches HUNDRED (27C) or more. Water cooling then turn by a thermostat. Another method is to subcool refrigerant vapour at the outlet from the receiver. Liquid line goes through the (in) evaporative condenser. The temperature of the refrigerant can be dropped 10F (6C) hypothermia. When the temperature reaches 45 tons (7C) or below water is turned off.

However, the capacitor can still carry the load as an air-cooled condenser

In some bodies of water inside the building. The tank must be large enough to hold all the water in the system. This allows protection against freezing. Fan damper is sometimes used to reduce the flow of air, and the temperature drops.
