Solvent recovery

It is necessary to control emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)which originate from many organic chemical production processes as well as by the dispersion paints, coatings, printing and cleaning activities. The loss of these creates a hazard for the environment, in addition to the cost of the material itself. Methods include adsorption and condensation and cooling. Here, refrigeration condensing units operating in the range of -50 -70C are used, as well as, cryogenic technology that can deliver faster condensation.

All of these solvents, volatile liquid and pressure-temperature characteristic, therefore, may be abbreviated if cooled saturation temperature. The ribbed-tube evaporator is usually used, but condensation can be high pressure, demanding shell-and-tube heat exchangers shell and plate type.

The size of the equipment can vary from 200 watt power for commercial dry cleaning machine for systems MW size synthetic fiber processes...
