Compressor discharge line carries the hot high-pressure steam in the outdoor air-cooled condenser. The condensed fluid is transferred back into the building. These units use the same devices for protection of the capacitor and to maintain a good head pressure at low air temperatures. They provide protection at temperatures as low as 50 F (10C) or below...
