The Receiving Tank Valves
The receiving tank valves are usually Packed type and equipped with a cap. These manually operated valves are designed for threaded in brazed installation or be soldered directly on the receiver tank. They control the refrigerant flow of the receiver in the liquid line serving the metering device. If the liquid line from condenser not directly connect to the fitting on the tank-receiver, receiver valve can provide a connection, but the port can not be closed valve plug. When is designed for installation on top of the receiver tank valve receiver has dip tube that allows the liquid refrigerant, which can be made from the bottom of the receiver. Some valves are also have screwed fittings for the accommodation of the safety valve or Giggling plug.
