Cooling
Cold suction gas provides cooling compressor sufficient to save the little machine at an acceptable operating temperature. Refrigerants with high discharge temperature (mainly ammonia) require the use of water-cooled cylinder heads. Oil coolers are required under certain conditions, which will be specified by the manufacturer. This can be water-cooled or take the refrigerant from the system.
