Transient heat flow

A special case of the heat flow occurs when the temperature of the thickness of a rigid body changes as heat is added or removed. This non-stationary or transient heat flow occurs, for example, when a thick slab of meat, cool, or when sunlight falls on the roof and warms the surface. When this happens, part of the heat changes temperature the first layer is solid, and the remaining heat goes to the next level, and so on.

Calculations for heating or cooling times thick solid particles consider plate in the form of a finite number of layers, each of which is at the same time and conduct of absorbing heat for successive periods of time. Original methods for solving transient heat flow was graphic, but could not easily take into account any changes, conductivity and heat capacity or any latent heat of solid as the temperature changed. Complex problems of transition of the heat flux can be solved using the computer.....
